It’s strictly a dollar and cents move: It’s become too ex- pensive to run the team in the tri-city league (Terrace, Rupert ° and Kitimat) and also attend tournaments and playoffs. By joining Terrace Minor Hockey, the Trojans cut down on high in- surance and ice-rental costs. Meanwhile, according to latest counts, registration for Minor Hockey is up in Kitimat and Terrace, but down at Prince Rupert. Terrace report they’ve- signed up about 270 youngsters — an increase of about 25 of last year. Kitimat has just over 200 | registered, while Prince Rupert has about 150 players.
