WITH: TELKWA TEAM Hazelton Wins. First Game and Loses Second in the Valley Town. Quite a number of Hazelton fans witnessed the week-end baseball games at Telkwa, which were attended by good crowds and proved quite interesting from aspectator’s point of view. For the Sunday game, Mills essayed the slab work, but did not succeed in fooling the Felkwa batters. Owen again entered the box and finished the game with honor, although the final score was six to five in favor of Telkwa. The game throughout waa close and exciting; but was. marred by the umpiring. The Telkwa team ,played good ball, with one or twosensational field- ing incidents, The Tigers, on the other hand, did not field quite up to form.
