Tender Evaluation for Eastbound Left-Turn Lane Improvement Contract

We write to report on the tendering of the left-turn lane improvement contract at Lougheed
Highway and Coast Meridian Road. Two sealed tenders were received and opened by Thomas
Ho on October 20, 1994 and witnessed by Peter Hackett. Also present at the tender opening

were Mr. Randy Ickringill of Jack Cewe Ltd. and Mr. Patrick McCarter, P.Eng., of Progressive
Contracting Lid. Both Bell Contraction Ltd. and Pacific Utility Contracting Ltd. were invited to
tender but did not submit their bids.

The tendered prices are surnmarized in TABLE 1 and coples of the tenders are attached for your
information .
