THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM B.R. Kirk DATE: April 30, 1992 City Administrator LR. Zahynacz, P. Eng. City Engineer KINGSWAY PRV STATION - BEEDIE SUBDIVISION That Council approve the installation of a Water Pressure Reducing Valve Station in Kingsway cast of the Mary Hill Bypass to be constructed by the Beedie Group to the City’s requirements at a cost of $73,980 (including G.S.T.) That $74,980 be allocated from the Water DCC Fund for this purpose. The City requires that a Water Pressure Reducing Valve Station be constructed at Kingsway and the Mary Hill Bypass as one of the projects designated in the Water Development Cost Charge Bylaw. The previous owner of the land being developed by the Beedie Group east of the Mary Hill Bypass and south of Kingsway has already paid the Water Development Cost Charge fees which include the construction of the Kingsway/Mary Hill Bypass PRV Station. As the Beedie Group will be installing all of the Municipal services in the area for an industrial subdivision, it is recommended that the Beedie Group install the PRV Station and that the City reimburse the Beedie Group based on actual costs estimated to be $73,980 (including G.S.T.).
