. A Bylaw to amend the "Traffic
Regulation Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117"

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam, in. open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

Section 602 of the "Traffic Regulation Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117" is repealed and the
following is substituted therefor; ,

"602. (a) No person shall use or have present on a highway within the City,
other than an arterial highway, a vehicle or combination of
vehicles which is overloaded or oversized within the meaning of
section 8 of the Commercial Transport Act, unless;

(i) a permit for the operation of the vehicle or combination of
vehicles has been issued pursuant to section 9 of the Commercial

Transport Act; and

a permit has been issued by the City Engineer, setting out
the route which the overtoaded or oversized vehicle is to
take and the date and hours of permitted operation of the

overloaded or oversized vehicle.

As a condition of issuance of a permit by the City Engineer under
section 602, a fee in the amount of $50.00 shal! be submitted with

every application for such permit.

The permit issued by the City Engineer under this section shall be in
the form’contained in Shedule "A" attached to and made part of the
Traffic Regulation Bylaw, 1971, No. 1117, Amendment Bylaw, 1986, No.

No. 2219.'"

z. The "Overloaded/Overweight Vehicle Permit" set forth as Schedule "A" to this
bylaw is attached hereto and made a part hereot.

3, This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Traffic Regulation Bylaw, 1971,

No. |117, Amendment Bylaw, 1986, No. 2219".
