RECOMMENDATION: That City Councl! dlrect the Clerk's Offlee
To prepare @ bylaw To rezone Lot B, Biock 6,
Dw. 290, Group !, Plan 13637 from A~| and
RS=! to RS~| and RS~IA,

COMMENTS:

1. Th!sS proposal contorms with the overall direction of tha
Community Plan for davelopment of the south Shaughnessy
Street nelghbourhood.

The proposal was inttlalty submitted for consideration by
the City In 1983, put was witharawn by the appileant due to
a downturn in the econemy. The proposal was supported by
The Planning Committee at that time,

In tne earlier Proposal, the applicant wanted to phase
subdivislon of the Property, the revised appileation ts to
do the project al! at once,

A design feature carried over fram the Phased subdivision
That 1S net supported Is to have a lot fronting onto
Shaughnessy Street, The policy of the Clty Is to not have
lots fronting onto arterfal roads. As a result the
applicant wilt! be required to modify thelr proposal
reerfenting the lot towards Marshall, This change wifi not
reduce the number of tots belng created or Increase costs.
