Traboulay . ‘Chairman of Public Works Committee The City of Port Coquitlam 2272 McAllister Ave. Port Coquitlam, B.C. Dear Sir, RE: LOUGHEED HIGHWAY ACCESS For over two years now since the motel opened we have endeavoured to co-operate with the Department of Highways in functioning without direct access from the Lougheed Highway. As many of council are already aware, we have encountered numerous complaints from tenants, especially out of town visitors, in not being able to find the access and the same complaint holds true for tne Pantry Restaurant. . Py sy At this juncture,: we feel that if we were to obtain the blessing of council for this access we would have a better chance of getting the Highways Department to agree. Also it is our feeling that in view of the number of businesses now located between Shaughnessy and Coast teridian we would support a 50 Kilometre Speed zone in this section of road. We have no doubt but what this would assist our efforts on access as well. We recognize that council would not necessarily have the final say on any such changes however a letter of support would greatly assist our cause. Yours truly, Kor Loa stord ig Ron E.
