Alderman Ranger stated that in his opinion the report on industrial

drainage should be discussed in open Council.

Moved by Alderman Ranger:

Seconded by Alderman Traboulay:

That the report on drainage in the industrial area be discussed in

open Council.

Defeated.
Aldermen Ranger and Traboulay voted in favour of the resolution.
Prior to the question being called Alderman Traboulay asked if
there would be land acquisition involved in the discussion on drainage
in the industrial 2.2a and Mayor Laking advised there would be and that

is the reason the report was put in Committee.
