A productivity premium separate and apart from the classified rate, and in the amount of 5% of the classified rate, shall be paid te those employees of the Refuse Collection Service in the classifications of Driver-Swamper for each hour worked with a reduced crew, i.e. where the previous reqular crew size has been reduced by one; provided, however, a full days work shall be considered to be eight hours. ii. Annual vacations, statutory holidays, authorized leaves of absence and sick leave transactions for employees engaged in the Refuse Collection operations shali assume an eight hour work day and 40 hour work week and shall utilize each employee's classified rate of pay exclusive of the productivity premium referred to in paragraph 10. 12. For the purposes of implementing the chanqeover, it is recognized that two senior swampers, Mel Harder and Dale Patience, are interested in working as part of the two-man task system but are not interest in becoming Driver-Swampers. It is agreed that thsse two men will he allowed to continue as swampers only with a productivity bonus until such time as they voluntarily retire, are accepted for another position, or are terminated for just cause; provided that they are capable of performing the duties of the position.
