Alderman Traboulay introduced a By-law to amend the "Traffic Regulation

By-law, 1971, No. 1117".

Alderman Ranger voted against the resolution.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution,
Alderman Ranger stated he intended to vote against it as he was opposed
to Item 1 thereof which would designate portions of Elgin Avenue and
Shaughnessy Street as a truck route.

The City Clerk advised that the developer has requested further
consideration be given this evening to By-law No. 1373, proposed to
authorize issuance of a Land Use Contract, following its submission at a

Public Hearing held prior to commencement of the meeting now in progress,

and to this the Council generally agreed.

That the following amendments be made to Land Use Contract No. il
(which said Land Use Contract is attached to and made a part of By-law
No. 1373):

1. That Clause (b) of Section 5 be renumbered as Clause (c).
2. That the following be inserted as Clause (b) of Section 5:

"After the buildings, structures, and improvemerts have been sited
upon the land in accord with the provisions of Clause (a) of this Section
the City of Port Coquitlam Board of Variance shall hear and determine
any Appeal by a person who alleges that the strict enforcement thereof
would cause him undue hardship, in which case the Board may, to the
extent necessary to give effect to its determination, exempt the person
and subsequent owners of the building or structure from the provisions
of Clause (a) of this Section."

3. That the revised site plan dated May, 1975 be appended to Land Use
