A By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Pound & Animal SEP -4 1973
Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 1020".
The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port
. . Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: : .
i. Clause (g) of Section 1 of the "City ef Port Coquitlam Pound & ‘Animal
Regulation By-law, 1970, No. 1020" 4s amended by adding the following words at
the end thereof:
“whilst off the property of its owner".
2. Section 34 of the By~law is repealed and the following substituted:
"34. However, notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding Section,
every dog owner, who has contravened the provisions of this By-law
(a) with respect to his own unlicensed dog may be served with a
.wiolation notice as contained in Schedule "A" attached hereto
and made part of this By-law and shall be permitted to pay a
. , . oO fee in the amount of $20.00 on or before the date specified
on the said violation notice thereby omitting the necessity
of proceeding with the prosecution under the "Summary Convic-
tions Act" of the Province of British Columbia.
(b) with respect to his own licensed dog may be served with a
violation notice as contained in Schedule "A" attached hereto
. _ , ‘and made part of this By-law and shall be permitted to pay a
fee in the amount of $10.00 on or before the date specified
. on the said violation notice thereby omitting the. necessity |
. of proceeding with the prosecution under the “Summary Convic-
tions Act" of the Province of British Columbia.”
: *3. . Schedule "A" of the By-law is amended by striking out the last ten lines
OO thereof and substituting the following:

. . . "The penalty for this violation is: , :
