Jet to be used

CP Air's familiar 107 seat
737 jet will be operating this
winter through the Terrace-
Kitimat airport later than in
previous years, Peter
Chettle, CP Air's manager
Says.

The effective date for the
schedule change will be Oct.

29. Thedaily morning fight
arrives at 8.40 a.m. to depart
at 9:00 a.m., arriving in
Vancouver al 11.10 a.m. via
Prince Rupert. Oi Sundays,
the evening flight arrives at
5.55 p.m, to depart al 6.20
p.m., arriving in Vancouver
at 7.38 p.m., flying non-stop.

Music meet tonight

Hf music hath charm to
sooth the savage breast, the
Pacific Northwest Music
Festival is doing its best to
make sure that there will be
no savage breasts in the
Terrace area,

The regular monthly
ineeting of the groups will be
held tonight at 4741 Loen
Ave. at 8 p.m..

The group is currently
working on preparations for
its coming festival which is
to lake place in Terrace
during April.

Trio get grant

Three additional com-
munity organizations in
northwestern B.C. have
received Canada Works
funding, it was announced
recently by lona Cam-
pagnely, M.P. for Skeena.

Included in the new
projects is one by the Co-
uperalive Operative Groups
of Terrace, who will receive
a grant of $28,392 Lo create
ten new jobs,

The project's sponsor is
the Northern Neighbors Co-
uperative buying association
under the direction of Tom
Knox,

Project rationale is listed
as, “to expand present co-

operalive distribution

priced, nutrilious food
available to a greater per-
centage of people."

Two local youlhs were
apprehended over the
weekend at John's Billiards
on Kalum St. saturday.

Some $1,500 dollars in
change was recovered by
RCMP officers, It is
alleged that this morfey was
taken from various
machines in the poolroom.

location. Both youths are
