BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: Clerk’s Dept Staffing - this department has been very busy with the large number of rezonings taking place, each requiring public hearings and mailing of notices. There has also been an additional work load placed on the department with the many covenants having to be placed on many properties. New freedom of information requirements have also began to increase the work load. Overload has resulted in delays in processing bylaws and rezonings, the addition of a clerical staff member will clear this up. Funds will be reallocated from the following areas: ° part time staff will not be added during vacation times; « we had planned to bring in a consultant to replace the Clerk during her vacation, this will not be done.
