SUBJECT: Dog Control

Recommendation

That the attached dog control Signs be made and erected in
the city parks.

Background & Comments

We have had a major problem with dogs in our parks during the past
few months. The present park by-law signs are not sufficient for dog
control. The attached wording and symbol have been recommended for a
new sign. This type of Sign will be more explicit and hopefully will
help alleviate some of the problem. There are monies in the Parks &
Recreation department budget to handle the making of the signs,
