In recent discussions with Inspector Davis of the R.C.M.P. he informed Council of continuing problems with juveniles loitering in the downtown area. - He mentioned that many of the juveniles are in the 16 year old age group that are not effected by the City's Curfew By-law and recommended that Council give consideration to amending the By-law to cover youth up to their seventeenth birthday. The present By~law includes youth up to fifteen years of age. Inspector Davis also suggested a change in our By~law that would require uardian to pick up a child at the police office wherever possible.
