Pollock City Administrator Re: Transfer of City~owned Property for Mary Hill By-pass Right-of—way The new alignment for the Mary Hill By-pass at the east end of Kingsway - through the C.P.R, Underpass - encroaches on a very small portion of the City-owned land. On the attached Plan, the City owns the small, triangular, parcel marked Parcel 1, Sketch 7600. The new highway alignment takes off a very small portion of this property in the amount of 68 Square feet, The Department of Highways have written enclosing their ion for acquiring this small portion of land and have offered consideration of $1.00. I contacted Highways to see if they would be interested in Purchasing the whole parcel a e highway right-of-way and B.C. H Highways has-no authority to ac right-of-way an whole parcel, In view of the fact that Tenders have been called for this first phase of the highway through to Broadway, the Department of Highways would appreciate Council's consideration of this request. hie eel L.D.
