The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port

Coquitlam will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam
City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C., on Monday, October

3rd, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the following proposed by-law to amend

the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By~law, 1969, No. 918":
By-law No. 1555: To amend Section 301 by adding a subsection (4) that
would enact special regulations concerning floodproofing
in the Agricultural Land Reserve Area in the City that
would establish minimum floor elevations for buildings
constructed in the Agricultural Land Reserve and prohibit
construction within 100' of the natural boundary of the
Pitt, Fraser, and Coquitlam Rivers or within 50' of the
natural boundary of any other watercourse in the
Agricultural ‘Land -Reserve.
All property ipcated within the boundaries of the
present Agricultura’. Land Reserve will be affected by
the terms of the prozosed Amendiag By-law.

A copy of the proposed By-Law may be inspected in the Office of the

City Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hall, at the address given above, between the

hours of 8:30 a.m, to 4:30 p.m. - on working days - from September 222d, 1977

to October 3rd, 1977.

All persons who deem their interest in property affected by the

proposed by-law shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the Public

Hearing on matters contained in the by-law.
