/2. March 17th, 1975 the Annual Spring Clean-up will be held April 21st to 25th, 1975 as consistent with previous years and coinciding with the similar Clean-up Week in the District of Coquitlam. The Committee, in its report further advised that advertising will be placed in the various newspapers and signs will be placed at the Shaughnessy Underpass, Mini- Aggie Park, the landscaped island at Woodland and Westwood, and on the sides of garbage trucks. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That the holding of the City's annual Spring Clean-up during the period April 21st to 25th, 1975, as set forth in a report from the Public Works Committee, March 14th, 1975, be approved. Carried. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Ranger suggested that a location for an additional sign would be on Pitt River Road West of Shaughnessy Street. 1P/Wks.Comm. re From the Public Works Committee, March 14th, 1975, recommending, in Truck Route-Elgin Ave. etc. accordance with Council's request of February 17th, 1975, that a truck route be established on Elgin Avenue from Mary Hill Road to Shaughnessy Street and on Shaughnessy Street from Elgin Avenue to the Lougheed Highway. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended in a report from the Public Works Committee, March 14th, 1975, a truck route be established on Elgin Avenue from Mary Hill Road to Shaughnessy Street and on Shaughnessy Street: from Elgin Avenue to the Lougheed Highway.
