How- ever, you would of course only be awarded one of the Events. In the event you bid on more than one of the Games, each Games you bid on must be by a separate and distinct bid. The first British Columbia Summer Games were held in Penticton in 1978; the first B.C. Winter Games in Kamloops in 1979; the second B.C. Summer Games in Richmond in 1979; the second B.C. Winter Games in Kimberley in 1980 and future Games have been awarded to Kelowna (Summex 1980); Prince George (Winter 1981); Comox-Courtenay= Cumberland (Summer 1981). . This year's 1980 Winter Games in Kimberley involved over 2,000 B.C. athletes and this year's B.C. Summer Games in Kelowna Will involve 3,600 B.C. athletes - in 1979 we involved 112,000 British Columbians in all the playdowns leading up to the Games. You will note in the enclosed criteria for bidding, that the Government of British Columbia will provide $210,000.00 for @ach of the 1982 B. C. Summer and Winter Games and $220,000.00 for each of the 1983 B. c. Summer and Winter Games =- the Winter Games are to be held in Mareh and the Summer Games in August. 2 orev rzreevesaneeer ve ane
