Re: U.B.C.M. Resolutions Attached

We enclose a Press Release along with three resolutions that were
adopted at a Town Hall Meeting in Port McNeill.

With the continuing pressure that the Government is under to
alienate more and more resource land, it is our feeling that "a line
must be drawn in the sand”.

Preservation of 12% is a fair and acceptable line, and it should not be
exceeded.

We would appreciate your endorsation of the three resolutions. Such
endorsations would give considerable peace of mind to the people in
the resource communities and industries, without whom our
economy cannot survive.
