To: 1. *700 (11.2.3) THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM The Minister of Municipal Affairs, Province of British Columbia, The Petition of the City ct Port Coquitlam HUMBLY SHOWETH: That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has by Bylaw No. 2324 cited as the "Prairie Avenue (110G Block) Road Closure Bylaw, 1987, No. 2324" stopped up and closed to traffic a certain portion of road therein deseribed; That the said Bylaw No. 2324 of The Carporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the 16th day of November, 1987 and a duly certified copy is attached hereto; That the registered owners of al! the adjoining and contiguous fands have consented To the closure of the said portion of Road described in the said Bylaw No. 2524 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising the same; That it is no longer necessary to use the portion of road described in the said Bylaw No, 2324 as part of the road system of the City and it is the desire of the Council of the City to obtain title to the land comprising the same in order that it may be offered tor sale at an upset price of $4.15 per square foot and it is expected that the owner of the property immediately south ot the portion of road To be closed will be acquiring title to land comprising the closed road. That by resolution dated the 16th day of November, 1987 the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam authorized the presentation of a Petition to the Minister of Municipal Affairs praying for the abandonment of the portion of lane described in the said Bylaw No. 2324 so stopped up and closed to traffic; THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly orays for the abandonment of the said portion of lane described in Bylaw No. 2324 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title te the tand comprising same in The Corporation of the City of Port Coquittam.
