A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the
City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Counci! Chamber, Port Coquitlam
City Hall on Monday, May 25th, 1987, at 7:00 p.m.

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D.
Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, W.W.e. Stewart and M.R. Wright in
attendance.

Also in attendance were City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E.
Peters, and Director of Community Planning W. Brown.

SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced participants of various
sport teams and coaches and presented them with Civic Recognition Awards.

seconded by Alderman Keryluk:

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council Meeting
held on May 11th, 1987, be taken as read and adopted.

Mayor LsM. Traboulay introduced Mr. Alvin Cohen and presented him
with a plaque in recognition of his contribution to the Rick Hansen Man
in Motion Tour. |

That Mr. Aivin Cohen, Aldermen Keryluk and Stewart be appointed to a
Task Force Advisory Committee on the needs of Disabled People for the
City of Port Coquitlam. |
