SUBJECT: Purchasing Policy.

RECOMMENDATION:
That the attached purchasing policy be approved.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

Council requested a review of our purchasing’ policy
which I have done and I recommend the attached policy which is
very similar to that in place in other municipalities.

COUNCIL INVOLVEMENT WILL BE:

1. At budget approval.
2. On purchases of value between $10,000 and

$50,000 on which the recommendation is not
to go with the low bidder.
3. All purchases of value $50,000 or greater.
