Thies was a joint operation between Burneby and Coquitlam Detachments. The work of one undercover operator resulted in a total of 79 trafficking charges filed against 41 people wao sre known to frequent both the Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam area. Both hard and soft drugs were purchased by the undercover operator. Mejor crime during the month: & OCT 75 Rape reported by 28 year old female. Investigation found this compleint to be unfounded. Victim has been charged vith public uischief. BO OCT. 75 = Robbery - Johnson Shoe Store, 2640 Shaughnessy Street, by male - adult armed with a knife. Mole person has been charged ard is presently before the courts. A total of 17 break and enterings occurred during the sonth. Ten (1G) business end 7 residential, Four (4) juvenile males were charged with breaking and entering offences. Seventy-nine (79) thefts were reported during the oonth. Nine (9) motor vehicies, 7 automobiles, 1 truck and 1 other motor vehicle were stolen during the month. No auto theft charges were laid.
