Carried. ings Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution, Alderman Laking drew attention to the fact that soil is being removed on Kingsway Avenue where property is being pre-loaded prior to construction of an industrial building, and he stated his concern that no fee was being received for the soil thus removed. The City Engineer explained that sometimes top soil is stock-piled close to the site and replaced after pre-loading, and Alderman Keryluk stated his view that the exchange of base fill is another matter; however, Alderman Traboulay stated he felt it may be a violation of the Soil Removal By-law and the City Administrator advised he would look into the matter and report to Council on it.
