LUMBER WORKER (CONFEDERATION PARK, JULY 26 ANNUAL PICNIC, LOCAL 1-252 ie (1) LADIES’ SHOE RACE proved popular with both the contestants and spectators alike as the ladies scrambled to sort out their shoes to complete the game. (2) MEMBERS OF LOCAL 1-252, IWA. their families and friends enjoying the tissue paper race in which the contestants must push with their noses the rolls of tissue paper approximately fifty yards over the grass to the finish line, during the Locol’s first Annual Picnic, July 26th, at Confederation Park, Vancouver. (3) ANOTHER POPULAR RACE was the grass ski race which will be ‘an annual event between the plants for the plaque donated by Mrs. Ingrid Sigurdson, and won this year by the team from Alex Gair Ltd. (4) BABY BOTTLE feeding contest also kept the spectators highly omused and also the contestants from the look on their faces.
