Coast urns Loke pEO na. f+ yanderhoof = Se —PFromoin = Over one hundred logging camps on the B.C. coast line, certified to, and serviced by Local 1-71 IWA are grouped in the shaded areas indicated on the map. These camps are located on the mainland’s bays, inlets, and on numerous islands, from the Sechelt Peninsula to Stewart on the Alaskan boundary. Area 1—Jervis Inlet north to Seymour Inlet is serviced by the Local Union’s own cruiser, “The Loggers’ Navy.” ¥ Area 2 — Embracing the Englewood, Pioneer, Beaver Cove camps on Vancouver Island, and the Howe Sound district is reached by an organizer em- ploying boat, plane and train. i. Area 3—Includes operations in Quatsino Sound, and near Port Hardy, and Bella Coola. The organizer on this territory uses plane and boat. Area 4—Is the region adjacent to Prince Rupert, including Queen Charlotte Islands, Terrace and the newly developed territory surrounding the Kitimat aluminum operation. -
