1. SAFETY IN THE LUMBER INDUSTRY, is a major objective of the
IWA declared District Secretary-Treasurer George Mitchell when pre-
sented with the Public Interest Award of the National Safety Council for
the B.C. Lumber Worker, at a luncheon arranged by the Vancouver
Traffic and Safety Council. i
