District No. 1, when they addressed the 35 Auxiliary members attending the 2nd Annual Con- ference, held in the Hotel Vancouver during the IWA District Convention on Feb. 17-18. over other matters, with Aux- iliary and Social items next in |order of importance as far as] Jol space permits, that such items received would be published. —~ Reports Heard Reports were heard from all Local and Sub-Local Auxiliaries which revealed a widely varied program. of service activities, chief of which had been the hos- pital visiting, and distribution of comforts, All Auxiliaries had made not- |able contributions to the social |life of their Local Unions, and had raised substantial sums by their endeavors for recreational | and service purposes. Discussion of these reports re- sulted in an exchange of views which was found to stimulate the planning for Auxiliary activities during the year ahead.
