vention, and was caught by the camera man while exchanging quips with Tony Gargrave, M.L.A.

2. HOST-PRESIDENT LLOYD WHALEN, Local 1-217 IWA opened the District Convention and welcomed the
delegates to Vancouver. :

3. SERGEANTS-AT-ARMS Committee at the IWA B.C. District Convention kept the convention machinery
running smoothly. They were: J. MacFarlane, P. MacDonald, F. Somerville (Chairman), F. Fischer, T. Spend-
leve, A. Greening, M. Holt, R. Scobie, D. O'Bray, A. McDonald.
