I would like to extend my per-
sonal congratulations to the Ca-
nadian Congress of Labor as a
whole and to the Department of
Research and Education in par-
ticular, for the Educational pro-
grame which they have developed.

The recent Seminar held at
Parksville, Vancouver Island, was
in my opinion, one of the most
worthwhile achievements on edu-
cational lines that I know of. It
is my opinion that the CCL-CIO
Unions in British Columbia will
benefit immeasurably from that
Seminar, .

I hope that future Seminars
conducted along the same lines
will be held again in the not-too-
distant future.
