I appreciate very much indeed, the very warm friendship shown me by yourself and your husband, Stuart, when you so kindly visited me, and also for the genuine willingness of offer- ing your services for both my wife and myself, for my well- being and comfort. : : Warm friendship is one of the very best tonics for our malady, even if I am one of the more fortunate ones, as I entered the hospital with only a very small amount of infection, I am happy to state that I have gained over 20 pounds in weight and well on the way to full recovery. Please submit to your members my heartiest festive greet- ings and good wishes for 1953, to yourself and your good hus- band a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year and many more years to come.
