Master of Ceremonies Eddie Hyde, in full regalia, kept a sparkling program, enlivened with song and laughter. President Lloyd Whalen form- ally welcomed the host of guests, and predicted that the confidence won by the Union in considera- tion of the social well-being of IWA families would result in still bigger Christmas parties in the future. Appreciation was shown for the arduous work undertaken by embers of the Women’s Auxil- eo: in preparation for the party.
