At a meeting in the ball park at Camp 6, Lake Cowichan, under the sponsorship of the WIUC, H. Pritchett was boasting of the fact that he had been accused of being a “Red”, A voice from the audience sud- denly spoke up and said, “Well, are you? And the reply from Pritchett was, “Yes, I am, and I’m proud of it.” Pritchett as usual talked about every subject under the sun-and as usual arrived at no conclusion but that the men on the job should present a solid front to the boss. “He is not only a Red,” said one of the IWA shop stewards after the meeting, “but he is the biggest hypocrite in B. C. because he asks for solidarity among the workers, and at the same time tries to get union men to revoke their check-offs under the IWA and join the Wooies.” KAMLOOPS BUSINESS GUIDE SALES - LE.L. - SERVICE Pioneer Power Chain Saws WARD POWER SAW & EQUIPMENT KAMLOOPS, B.C.
