Local 97 is now planning to eoneentrate on building up our membership by consistent per- sonal contact work, and by in- ereasing our social activities. We also plan to introduce new educational features to our meet- ings which we feel to be an im- portant phase of auxiliary work. We have resumed sending our usual cigarette allotment over- seas and have held two socials recently, one at the home of Sis- ter Rosen and the other at the { home of Sister Kipp. We are very pleased .to have the honor of having the next District Council quarterly meet- t ing here and are looking forward to meeting the members from our sister auxiliaries again, Armour Bros, LOVAL AND LONG DISTANCE Furniture Moving FUEL SUPPLIES ee Phone 292 Auxiliary Aids Ford Strikers At its last meeting on Tues- day evening the IWA Women’s Auxiliary, Vancouver Local. un- animously voted to support the strike of the Windsor Ford workers for union security.
