The outfit originally employed eight sets of fallers, but have recently put in two power saws with two sets of fallers bushelling. Our correspondent reports that the Laur Wayne was at Roberts Creek on April 13, but owing to trouble with the boat, arrived too late to hold a meeting. The next night, the company had two police officers watching the road. If the company is so afraid of our organiataion as all that then there must be something of great benefit in it for the employees, These tactics, instead of being discouraging are, in reality, the finest argument in favor of organiza- tion which we could find.
