Bx- cept for the fact that the people at the party acted like Brownies in some ways, you wouldn’t have known they were Brownies as everyone was in costume. We had a variety of guests, includ- ing tramps, beautiful ladies, an old couple, a ghost, devil, Arab sheik, harem girls, gypsies, Red Riding Hood, a witch, a jungle man and Robin Hood. We played quite a few difter- ent kinds of games—guessing, matching, hide and seek and some just plain, noisy games. But then we had a spooky game to make it more like a Hal- lowe'en party. We all,sat in a circle, then the lights went out and several dishes were passed around. A voice told us we had to try and guess what it was thz was in the dish, and suggeste it might be worms or possibl oysters. There was a lot oa screaming and giggling, bu when the lights came on agai we found it was only spaghett By this time most of us wer getting hungry. There was cel tainly a lot of food and we wan to thank all those Browni sandwiche like to eat and do appreciat the food you send to our pai ties.
