Prince George player Findlay Young was presented with a golf cart and the cup for winning the men's championship flight with a score of 152 for 36 holes, Cliff Dezell, captain of the Prince George players, proudly took the team championship cup. The woman's trophy was also won by the visitors from the north. Alice Ward from Prince received the woman's champion- ship trophy from Mrs. Bob Carson, president of the local women golfers. Frank Latin made a good show for Williams Lake when he took runner-up for the championship flight. Frank, and Claude Hegge, a Victoria golfer playing for Prince George, brought in equal scores making them tie for runner-up, so they went out in the rain again and teed off on the first hole in a sudden death play-off of which Frank Latin Seattle came back the victor with a birdie over Claude’s par. Par on the first hole is four. Another local player, John Zaporozan, made good by chalk- ing up the lowest nine-hole score for two days. John also made the longest drive on the second day.
