S 4-H Club news The second meeting of the Hemline Beavers was held at the Curling Rink on May 11, with an attendance of 16. The meeting began with the singing of O Canada and the club pledge. Barbara Morris, president of group “B,” pre- sided over the meeting. It was decided that no meeting be held during June, July and August, the next one to be held on the second Monday of September. A motion was passed to hold a weiner roast at Ruth Lake Park on June 27. A letter of thanks will be written to Mr. and Mrs. Bric Sandback for their donation of a sewing machine.
