An engrossing western, beaut-
ifully photographed in color. The
story is a tense and exciting tale
of vengeance about a widower
who tracks down four cutlaws
one by one in the belief that
they are the men who «bused
and murdered hi wife.

The herd, Gregory Peck, puts
in an excellent performance and
Stephen Boyd is outstanding as
one of the outlaws. Henry Silva
contributes a striking portrayal
of an Apache who in the climax
holds the spotlight.
