Muller and Sons of Abbotsford for construction of a new motel at Cache Creek. It will be located on the south-east side of the Trans-Canada Highway, opposite the Oasis Hotel. Con- struction is to start at once, with completion scheduled for early summer. The owners of Desert Motels Ltd., John Collins and his father, Bert Collins, both of Cache Creek, state that the new motel will be air conditioned through- out and with lawns and land- scaped area the motel should be particularly attractive in its arid surroundings. Operators will be Mr. and Mrs. John Collins. Arrangements have been made to build at the same time premises to he occupied by the Royal Bank of Canada. This bank recently opened a branch at Cache Creek. Until the new building is ready, they are occupying temporary quarters on the site.
