Bage & Second Seetiog THE TRIBUNE, WILLIAMS LAER, B.O. Wednesday, March 12, _ se" f a ¥ eT [Local Sale From the Office of the €.C.A. U.S. GENERAL The cattle market at major centres this week showed quite a bit of uncertainty, with the trade more or less on a specialty basis. A few loads of prime cattle sold to better advantage at most market points, but the bulk of offerings were a little slow. At midweek, odd loads of prime steers at midwest markets were strong to as much as: 1.00 higher. The bulk of choice and lower grade kinds were a litle slow to move on all sessions, and prices ranged from steady to as much as 50¢ under the close of last week. To say the least, the trade has been very uneven. One salvation for the dressed beet trade is the small supp!y, for there fo continued pressure tor lower prices. Any slight increase in offerings might well put the market lower, for the over-all economic situation in many sections of the country is far from, good.
