The locals down- ed Quesnel 13-3 and Wells 19-3, losing out-to Prince 13-1. The ‘lake senior boys dropped both of their games; Prince defeat- ing them 14-6 and Quesnel 14-7. Prince George won this trophy as well. Lac La Hache Power Plant Taken Over By Commission Latest district area to come under the system of the B.C. Power Com- mission is Lac La Hache, where a diesel station and distribution sys- tem servicing approximately 70 cus- tomers has been purchased trom Voth Bros. The 100 Mile House and Lac La Hache areas are now included in. Commission plans for the formation of a new Cariboo power district. The commission previously pur. chased the existing diesel plant at 100 Mile House and will commence operation there October 1. Street lighting will be improved by the in- stallation of 13 new 200-watt lamps. The operation will be under the jurisdiction of the commission’s Clinton district manager, Stewart Sanborn, while R.
