SUMMARY All across Canada for the week ending September 10th: Moderate to light runs of cattle sold mainly to strong this week. The only change of note in steer trading was an advance of fully 25¢ at To- ronto. Heifers showed no change and cows were up 50c to $1 at prin- cipal markets with gain lost at Win- nipeg on late trading. Light offer- ings of feeder cattle met a further increased demand and some western sales were up 50c, Calves, hogs and lambs were mostly unchanged from last week’s price levels. Smaller slaughter cattle offerings totalling 22,500 head were due to short trading week following the holiday on Monday and to continued harvest operations.
