Gets Special Pay - For War Heroism = —Central Press Canadian ; Rodney Dove, former Royal Navy lieutenant, will receive $700 back pay from the navy for the time he was held prisoner by the Nazis in World [1 but he says the feels guilty about accepting it. The special pay is being given to him for his part in blowing up ships at Palermo, Italy. He rode a midget submarine into Palermo harbor, attached magnetic explo- sive charges to the hull of cruiser and watched it blow up. Captured, he spent over two years in a prison camp. He now lives in Vancouver.
