WILLIAMS LAKE

The prices this week show no ma-
jor changes from the last two or three
weeks with Good steers at $18-19,
medium steers $17-18, common
steers 15-16.50. Heifers are down
slightly with good types bringing
$14-15.25, and common to medium
$12-14. Cows are -somewhat the
same; good cows average $10-11.50,
medium cows $9-10 and common
cows $8-9. Canners and cutters
should bring $5-7, heavy calves
$15-16 and stockers and feeders, al-
though there are not many avail-
able yet, would average $15-16. The
pricé on horses for*fox feed has gone
down’ to 4c per lb.

In the month of August 714 cattle,
11 calves and 18 horses were mar-
keted in this area.

Due to the sale at O.K. Falls last
week there were no cattle moved in
this area lately but from now on we
anticipate cattle sales and shipments
every Saturday until the auction
sale,
