Rev. C. Faweett officiated at the rites at $ p.m. before an altar massed with a profusion of summer flowers. : The bride, who is the eldest daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil J. Friesen of Williams Lake, chose a formal white gown of nylon tulle with full bouffant skirt. Sequins and pearls gave waistline interest, and the same detail was carried out on the cuffs of the short bolero. Her sheer veil misted to floorlength, and she car- ried a bouquet of tiny pink roses and baby’s breath. She was given in marriage by her father. The groom is the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Townsed of Victo- ria, B. C. Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs. Jack Woods. Brides- matron was Mrs. Jack Seibel with Miss Betty McKenzie and Miss Audrey Friesen acting as bridesmaid. The toast to the bride was propos- ed by Mr. John Anderson. Following their wedding trip to Vancouver, Victoria and Portland, the young couple will make their home at Williams Lake.
