Metering Lake Flow

Dominion Water Resources Dt-
vision has again made its regular
visit. Last week Fred Walker of that
department metered the outflow of
Mahood Lake into Mahood River.

Shaughnessy Military Hospital in

Weeks. Bill Cumberland, well known
old timer in the Cariboo and now in
his eighty-fourth year also sends his
regards and would he pleased to
hear from a few of his old friends.
Mrs.. MacKay also told us that K. Rt.
Dawson who was once employed by
the late Norman Lee at Hanceeyille
is doing nicely and hopes to be back
in the Cariboo soon.

Miss Bertrand who will he well
remembered as the first school teach-
er in the Cariboo is the Red Cross
representative at the hospital: Miss
Bertrand keeps a close check on the
patients from the Cariboo and al-
