Old Land Certificate Gift For Museum Original copy of a land title for a lot in-the town of Quesnel has been secured by local historical society president Henry Windt for the pro- posed museum. ~ The land, described as lot 10% of block 2 Quesnel Mouth in the district of Cariboo West, was purchased from the Crown by Alfred Edmundson on August 17. 1863. The certificate would be issued from the government loffice at Quesnel Forks and was later found in the old 150 Mile govern- ment office. The office was moved there from Quesnel Forks and later to Williams Lake. The certificate was turned over to Mz, Windt by W. J. Otson of Horsefly.
