DAVID and HUGHIE BARRETT entertained a group of their school- mates at a dinner prepared by their Mother of New Year's love. Y THE local Women's _ Institute changed the pattern of their Friend- ship entertainment, which they put on each year for the ladies of the Community, by serving a buffet luncheon at the home of Mrs. Gib- bons. The sing-song and contests were in the hands of Mrs. G. H. Wal- ters and Mrs. George Hoekley. Prize winners were: First prizes, Mrs. A. Iuon and Mrs. “Slim” Tuon. Consol- ation prizes, Mrs. Alf Gardner and Mrs. Brigden, Seventeen ladies in- cluding the hostess were present.
